The public comment phase of the Environmental Assessment for the proposed runway extension project has been completed. The Airport Authority expects to receive the necessary permit for the project later this Spring.
The Authority is working on plans for a ten (10)-unit T-Hangar building. The proposed site will be on the west side of the airport, across from the Nicewonder hangar. Actual construction is scheduled for late Spring or early Summer, 2010. If you need T-hangar space, and are not already on the waiting list, please call the airport office 276-628-2909.
