Where are we?
In Virginia, Interstate 81 (I-81) South Bound: Take Exit 13. Turn Right at Bottom of Exit Ramp. Go 300′, Turn Right on to US 11 North (Lee Highway). Go Approximately 1/2 mile, airport on left
North Bound: Take Exit 13. Turn Left at Bottom of Exit Ramp Go 400′, Turn Right on to US 11 North (Lee Highway) Go Approximately 1/2 mile, airport on left.
Parking Options
Automobile
Automobile public parking at Virginia Highlands Airport is available directly off of U.S. Route 11 at the main terminal building located at 18521 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24210. The parking lot has space available for approximately 124 vehicles. The parking area is located just to the east of the terminal building and is lighted. Handicap parking spaces are located just to the west of the terminal building.
Parking inside the airport security area is available by permit only. Gate codes are required for entry into the airport security area. If arriving or departing after regular hours of operation please contact the airport for access information. Virginia Highlands Airport operations (276) 628-6030
Aircraft
Aircraft parking space is available for both fixed-wind and rotary-wing aircraft.
Tie-down spaces are available for transient aircraft. Limited hangar space available, please call ahead (276) 628-6030.
